Abbreviations: DNC = the boat did not come to the
starting area
DNS = the boat did not start, i.e. it came to the start area but did not start
or finish, or it retired or was disqualified (for full details refer to Appendix A of
The Racing Rules of Sailing For 2005 - 2008)
Notes:
Where a series is not completed, competitors'
positions shown will be based on the latest results.
Points for DNC = number of boats in the series plus 1 point.
Points for DNS = number of boats in that day's race plus 1 point.
Points scored: the "Low Point System" is used, i.e. the points scored equal the
boat's finishing position in that race.
Discards: For a
series of up to five races, the boat's single worst result will be discarded;
for a series of six races or more, the two worst results will be discarded.
