OUR NEXT ISSUE WILL BE our 50th, so it would be nice if the Bowsprit could somehow be celebrated? So, having had many discussions and thoughts, I have come to the conclusion that the best idea is to get you - the membership - to send me on the form enclosed or by email, your best experiences either on the river Stour or as a member of our sailing club.
Your entry need not be a novel and neither does it have to be funny, but it can be both!
You've got until 31 January 2006 to submit your entry All entries will be subject to the normal rules of publication. This is not a competition - it is a celebration of all things SSC!
If you need inspiration perhaps I could suggest some of the following topics which may indeed inspire you to pen a larger article... skate spearing; punts as
gunships to cull flocks of birds; river pubs on the Stour...
