Road and rail:

Manningtree Station is 1 mile from the town centre. There is a direct train service to London.

Water:

The channel is buoyed all the way to Manningtree, but take care above Mistley particularly if your draft exceeds 1.5 metres! If in doubt keep close to the moorings.

Particular shallows to avoid: The mud/ shingle bank 50 metres off Mistley Quay and the mud bank in the middle of the Manningtree Channel and 20 metres off the sailing club quay (click on map for details).
