Coronavirus – latest changes coming into affect today (24th September)
The latest announcements from the Government now mean that in addition to existing Covid requirements set out at the Club;
FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE CLUB
Absolutely everyone coming into the clubhouse must now wear a face covering!
Social distancing remains strictly in place.
FOR MEMBERS USING THE BAR
When you enter the clubhouse you must wear a face covering until you are finally seated in the bar.
Sign in and out as normal.
Find your seat – strict seating layout will be marked and this cannot be moved/changed/ignored.
You must remain seated at all times whilst you are in the bar and it is only then you can remove your face covering.
If you go to the toilet you must wear a face covering.
Order your drinks from your seat – luckily we are small enough to allow this.
Table service only – so remain seated.
Please pay by card or bring change – please avoid bringing in large notes to pay for a drink.
The balcony will now be out of bounds as will the compound for drinking.
The bar will be the only location for drinking BUT on Sunday lunchtime ONLY the parlour will be available for extra seating, however, once you have sat down in the parlour you must remain seated and we will have someone come to take orders and serve drinks.
NOTE we are trying to do our best to keep the bar open as we know it is a vital social link for a lot of our members BUT we are reliant on;
Members following the requirements.
Bar volunteers being willing to continue serving – so support them by following the requirements.
If you have any concerns, questions, etc please let me know. We all need to pull together to make this work – the alternative is the bar will have to close.
