    Marine Police Visit

    It was great to have a visit from the Essex Police Marine Unit on the tide yesterday. It was a busy day with young people from Lawford School on a taster session sailing and Kayaking, and lots of other activity on the water.   • Ipswich Beacon Marina - Notice of Works

    We want to let our berth holders and visitors know about upcoming essential works at Ipswich Beacon Marina. From Monday 13 July 2026, we will carry out refurbishment works to the marina lock gates and surrounding infrastructure.     Sunken Yacht at Kirby Creek

    Visitors to Kirby creek need to be aware of this sunken yacht. The special purposes Yellow Mark is just metres to the north of the wreck. Hull length 22 feet. It is believed the wreck was anchored in this position. Dover Coastguard is aware and broadcasting a local Hazard Warning with their scheduled Safety Broadcasts.     Micro Spring Regatta Results

    Sunday 3 May saw the Micro Spring Regatta with Martin and Jenny Pavey once again doing sterling service as OOD Team.     Micro Race 7/9/2025

    Brilliant race today in slightly testing condition - quite windy!! Huge congrats to Andrew and Alex, our latest Micro owning team, who managed a very respectable third place and didn't get that wet, well during the race at least!! Maybe we need to keep an eye on them!! Looking forward to the Micro Worlds!
