    Micro Worlds 11th & 12th October

    Next weekend it will be 2025 Micro-Worlds at the Club. On Saturday 11th - HW is 15:45, the Race Briefing is 12:45 and the First Start is 13:45. On Sunday 12th - HW is 16:30, the Race Briefing (if required) is 13:30 and the First Start is 14:30 The Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions are included below.

    Micro Race 7/9/2025

    Brilliant race today in slightly testing condition - quite windy!! Huge congrats to Andrew and Alex, our latest Micro owning team, who managed a very respectable third place and didn't get that wet, well during the race at least!! Maybe we need to keep an eye on them!! Looking forward to the Micro Worlds!

    2025 Lift-Out and Winter Storage

    It is that time of year again! Lift out is scheduled for Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th November, the deadline for the applications for winter storage and/or lift out is September 21 st 2025. Limited storage is also available in the East Compound for craft under 16ft. The application forms can be found by clicking on the links below. No payment is required with the application.   • President's Cup Race 2025

    The President's Cup Race will be held on Saturday 23 August 2025. The first start will be no earlier than 11.40 (high water is 13:10) All welcome; Micros, Yachts, Classics, Canoes, SUP's etc - if it floats we can get you a start! Race Notice and further details below.

    'Pontoon Walkway' Working Party

    There was a very successful working party this morning, stripping all the unnecessary components from the walkway that the club acquired many years ago, lightening it, and preparing it for re-purposing as a main gangway onto the clubs pontoon. It will now be modified by a local engineering company and installed in the coming weeks.

    Regatta 2025 - Firework Night!

    What a fantastic job 'Dynamic Fireworks' did for us this year - one of the best yet! Despite the cooler evening, the beach and surrounding area was very busy, with people pouring out of nearby pubs and restaurants - roll on next year!!

    RNLI Safety Talk - August 1st, 17:00, Club Marquee

    My Blue Pass

    Back on the water again today with My Blue Pass after yesterday's session had to be cancelled due to the conditions. Twenty young people from local schools were out in kayaks and optimists (with bin bags in place of sails). Two unplanned rescues today were an inflatable that picked up a line round the prop, and Manningtree's first super yacht visitation following a dragging anchor. Today also featured the amazing Paddle Boarding Crumble
