The West Compound cruiser ‘lift-in’ takes place on the 23rd/24th of April 2024
After this, members are invited to take up their previously allocated spaces.

Members preparing and launching trailer sailors, day boats, and micros are requested to keep the compound clear and remove road trailers as soon as possible after launching.

The East compound is to be cleared of all craft by Sunday, 28th April

As you may be aware, it is mandatory that all craft(s) are marked with the owners’ club membership number where it is visible in the stored position. All oars stored in the shed must be similarly marked.

All users of the compound are reminded that we (The Stour Sailing Club) are legally responsible for the use of the flood gate from the West compound, especially its closure when the risk of flooding exists. Please continue to follow the standing instructions and secure the floodgate if you are not 100% sure that someone will be using the entrance in the immediate future.

Members fitting out are requested to remove all rubbish, including paint and engine oil containers, from the compounds as the club has no waste disposal facility.

Members are reminded that previously allocated space not paid for by the 30th of April is at risk of being lost.

Your co-operation is appreciated.

Compound Manager
