Commodore’s Note

 AGM 31 March 2021

The Committee is working towards holding the Club’s AGM on 31st March 2021 using ZOOM. There will be no live voting at the AGM – there will be a postal voting system – hence a long lead in time is needed to prepare all of the relevant paperwork.

This is, obviously, very different to past AGMs but in these unprecedented times a new approach has to be adopted to ensure we do not postpone a second AGM.

All of the AGM papers will be circulated via email although copies of everything will be available on the members’ area of the website for those who have access to email.  We will contact those members without an email address separately.  There will be no notifications put up in the clubhouse due to COVID restrictions.

In order to prepare for the AGM I am asking NOW for all nominations for any of the positions on the Committee.  All nominations need to be forwarded to me by a strict deadline date of 21st January 2021.

If anyone would like to discuss any of the Committee roles then please feel free to contact me.

LOCKDOWN

The announcement this evening about the planned lockdown now means that the clubhouse will be in complete lockdown and locked.
